Hi, Leona here. I am going to turn 9 here in a few months (Oct 23). I am a fun loving Great Pyrenees/Rough Collie mix. Think of me as a large Lassie. I am looking for a home that will care for me in my golden years. I would like a large yard to play in and a doggie door inside because I am starting to figure out that inside is cool (literally cooler than outside). I do not like being in a kennel so my new house would being willing to work around this fear of mine. I weigh around 65 pounds and as much as my foster mom feeds me I have a high metabolism and our 2 mile+ walks every day burns a lot of fat. I absolutely adore children and have the most patience with them. I have been spayed and given all my shots that I need to stay healthy, unfortunately I do have heartworms though I am being treated for them and on my birthday I will be retested, crossing paws for a negative result.
